Storage is always a huge pain in the neck for those who just do not or cannot get rid of their stuff. During the contract period, and even after sometime of passing the contract, the unit remains shut for everyone else, except for the owner, who has the key or code to enter the unit. However, there are a few emergency or legal obligations, which allow the public storage unit personnel to enter the unit, without asking the owner.
Another best feature of a public storage unit is that they have air conditioning. This keeps the right climatic conditions within the unit and the owner can hope to conserve his/her goods (including furniture) for a long time to come.
