In marketing with brochures, trust is an important factor to its success. Custom brochures cannot elicit the desired responses from its marketing message if people do not trust what they are saying. That is why a key important goal in any design and layout for brochures is to have the right elements to gain that audience trust.

Look below and you will see five of the key starting elements that should have you earning that trust from your brochure readers. Make sure that you review and learn about these elements carefully so that you can implement them correctly in your brochures. So read carefully all the items in the list below.

1.    Author credibility – This is one of the primary factors that lets brochures earn that trust. If the author of the brochure is credible, with the right professional authority and achievements, then in most cases, people will start to trust what the brochure is saying.

That is why it is a must to introduce the author somewhere in the page, and of course have a small description of his or her professional details and achievements. The more impressive the details, the more your brochure can earn trust. That is why it pays to have real credible authors write the content for your brochures.

2.    Firm/Project credibility – The credibility of the firm or the project making the brochures also plays a factor in gaining audience trust. People will also always look for the identity of the firm producing the brochure and in most cases will want to confirm its credibility.

That is why it is also recommended that you have a small section in the brochure dedicated to the details of the firm. This can include some proof of the fact that the firm is real, registered with its own achievements and certifications. People reading this should be able to judge more quickly if they will trust that company brochure or not.

3.    Trustworthy content style – Of course, never forget the fact that a trustworthy brochure will always have a trustworthy content style. None of those exaggerated and commercialized content here. If you want people to trust your prints, you have to be clear and concise.

These are smart audiences nowadays, and if you tell them the truth, they will judge in favour of you if you layout all the correct details for them. So make sure that you write in the best direct and trustworthy content style, to gain that all important trust for brochures.

4.    Guarantees and Testimonials – Most audiences are also swayed by guarantees and testimonials. Guarantees in particular are great since they represent a real statement of confidence about your brochure marketing message. Testimonials are also equally amazing since they provide social proof of what your brochures have in store. Make sure that you have at least one of these elements in your brochure. This should add another trustworthy factor for your prints.

5.    High quality style – Lastly, in many cases, people trust brochures more if they use high quality styles and materials. Again, this is about people judging brochures actually by the cover. People will trust better looking high quality brochures since they take themselves seriously in terms of printing.

Nobody of course will trust a cheap and flimsy brochure. That is why it is a must really to go for the best high quality style that you can afford. The better the quality, the more people can trust such brochures.

So that is how you can earn the trust of your audiences when it comes to your brochures. You will need a combination of all these elements to really maintain that trust and relationship with your audience.
