Promoting Christian Message Boards

I've been running a Christian forum for years and have found more ways not to promote than I have to promote a message board. I've tried link sharing, articles, word of mouth, article directories, FFA pages, Twitter, Facebook, and even tried paid promotion. A few have worked and many haven't.

A couple of methods I've tried and received the most forum visits from were blog posts and post exchanges. Blogs, because surfers like informative and usable content and that is what I've tried to supply, and post exchange for message boards because the interaction is literally instant.

How post exchanges work is you go onto an exchange board and start a thread offering to post so many posts on someone else’s board if they will also post so many on your board. This concept works great except that there are quite a few secular boards that a Christian shouldn't be posting on because of the language, subject matter, or even the lewd graphics you find on their boards. You want to promote your board but you just can't bring yourself to post on a board that would ruin your testimony. The solution is a Christian Forum Post Exchange!

I have searched high and low to find a post exchange for Christians and really haven't found the first one per se. Well, not to be deterred, I've decided to start my own.
